Quick PSA: Battery Care Guide
Every modern electric skateboards run on lithium batteries. These category batteries provide a huge amount of storage and discharge rate in a tiny package. Good care is essential to extending the battery’s life span and ensuring that it keeps on performing. Remember this is not unique to Telum’s boards but would be suitable for all consumer electronics running on lithium batteries.
★ Do not totally discharge or overcharge
Over charging / discharging will result in timeless damage to your battery!
Each battery pack comes with a Battery Management System (BMS) that helps us avert over charging / discharge. Nevertheless, there are scenarios that will still make an over charge / discharge happen.
★ Over Charging – As the board works on regenerative braking, avoid intense braking (such as braking downhill) when the battery is fully charged. This can lead to the BMS to temporarily shut off the board to forestall overcharge.
★ Over Discharge – Avoid using the board’s battery to empty. If you try it, charge it back up to 70% as soon as possible. Never store a full discharged board for an extended period of time.
Avoid extreme temperatures
★ Batteries exert best between 50° to 95° F (10° to 35° C) ambient temperatures.
★ They should be saved between -4° to 113° F (-20° to 45° C).
Keep the battery at 70% charge for long term storage
Never save a board at the status of fully charged or fully discharged.
A battery could fall into a deep discharge state when stored fully discharged. This will supply it incapable of holding a charge.
A battery stored fully charged will lose some volume, reducing battery’s life.

Finally... my dear board has arrived.. I’ve been following this board for a long time...The board really costs a lot money but I really like the carbron fiber deck. It just looks so cool, nothing can describe it ! So I decided to get this board with the huge wheels. It’s not too heavy to carry anyway. I was very nervous before I received it. Coz I’ve never bought any thing from Telum, just recommended by my best friend and I know he wouldn’t cheat me. But now, after I’ve ridden this boards for a couple of times. I feel I just can’t leave this guy and it’s worthing getting the board. To be honest, I really suggest you guys to get one,especially to people who are new to 8esk(like me), it’s a very friendly board to start your esk8 life.
I love it very much! I usually ride it for commuting school. The stability of this board is really amazing... It's quite easy to ride on deep potholes, to say nothing of riding on the snow or sand. A more significant point is that this guy looks really...really cool. I could feel that everyone in my class just wants to steal this guy from me. So... I always save it very carefully, lol. Anyway, I think it's worth the money and I never regret. I hope Telum would produce better products just like Infinity. Thanks Telum for providing such a fantastic board.
